The final E3R Warriors team is in place for Total Warrior next month with 14 E3R employees taking on the challenge to raise money for the company’s charity partner Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.
The 12k muddy obstacle course takes place on Saturday 22nd June and includes 25 punishing obstacles including the Human BBQ, Cement Mixer, Death Valley and The Shocker to name a few and also includes 10 tons of ice and 100 tons of mud.
Half of the team are veterans having completed Total Warrior last year, who include: James Soden, Andrew Pilling, Andrew Joseph, Laura Rogers, Rodger Morley, Emma Thomas and Kerri Simpson. New E3R Warrior team members include: Matt Booth, Jordan Talbot, Jack Neagle, Tom Hughes, Chrissie Gale, Callum Good and Dan Holt.
James Soden, E3R Director and E3R Warrior commented: “Having participated last year we know that this is a challenge for our 13 strong team with limited fitness levels. Although Jack recently completed Half Ironman which consisted of a 1.2-mile sea swim, 56-mile cycle and half marathon so he will be the one to beat!
“But we know it’s lots of fun with team camaraderie every step of the course. We are doing this to raise money for our charity partner Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice which has such a positive impact on so many families’ lives. It will be a great day and all the team are really looking forward to it.”
The E3R Warriors are hoping to raise a donation target of £1000 for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice which supports children with life-shortening conditions and their families. Total Warrior will be the second sporting charity event for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice this year with E3R sponsoring a colour station at the charity’s Colour Run on Saturday 8th June at the Orchard FM Sports Park in Salendine Nook, Huddersfield. The run that is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, will see hundreds of people run, walk, dance or jog their way round the 3.5km course, while being showered in coloured paint powder.
