E3 Recruitment (E3R) is at the forefront of manufacturing and engineering recruitment in Yorkshire and the UK, offering both our clients and candidates a wealth of knowledge and dedicated industry experience.

Over 90% of the manufacturing businesses E3R works with are British owned, and we are proud to support British industry by sourcing and delivering world-class talent for our clients, via our range of talent management solutions.

The pandemic is up there as one of the biggest challenges that industry has faced, with workforces being shielded from a virus which brought the country to a stand-still and has changed the working world forever.

We for one have seen more clients than ever utilising E3R’s on-line candidate screening and onboarding software, to maintain candidate engagement whilst providing a positive, yet rigorous experience for all.

We have also played a pivotal role in supporting vital industries at this time. By supplying Permanent, Temporary and Contract personnel, across the following key sectors; Food, Energy, Transport/Automotive, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Defence and associated supply chains.

Examples of our support, include but are not limited to overseeing the recruitment of INEOS’s new hand sanitiser plants, supporting Morrisons manufacturing sites to feed the nation and sourcing power supply companies across the UK for the Nightingale hospital projects.

We have also brought manufacturers together by hosting several Furlough/Employee Retention Scheme virtual meetings, with other topics including mental health, what the future looks like, and how to plan and leading teams effectively whilst working remotely.

Our passion extends to addressing the UK skills gap, where for the past 8 years we have played an instrumental role in promoting the industry and STEM subjects to young people, advising them on the opportunities and careers that are open to them by delivering engaging school assemblies, and working collaboratively with manufacturers.

Earlier this year E3R hosted a Made Equal event to encourage inclusivity and diversity in the sector with the aim of increasing productivity, profitability and future-proofing workforces within manufacturing by sharing best practice.

The changing employment landscape will present challenges and opportunities for everyone, but E3R will work in partnership with manufacturing and engineering businesses to help them stay agile and provide the talent solutions needed to help build further confidence in British Manufacturing
